Nancy Chippendale's Dance Studios, established in North Andover in September 1979, is owned and operated by Nancy Chippendale Carberry, her husband Bob Carberry and their three daughters Karen, Kelli and Kristina Carberry. Nancy opened the doors with just ten students in the first year in the Grange Hall in the North Andover Old Center. With each growing year the number of students increased as well as the size of the faculty and facility. Today, Nancy Chippendale's Dance Studios is one of the largest, most prestigious private dance studios in the country. Students travel from around the globe to train at the North Andover studio. Nancy Chippendale's Dance Studios is a life member of Dance Educators of America (DEA), a certified member of Dance Master's of America (DMA) and an International Dance Organization (IDO) studio. The studio holds 15 World Championship titles in Tap and Jazz and has won over 30 gold, silver and bronze medals at the World Dance Championships in the last 10 years. Nancy Chippendale's Dance Studios was named a top five finalist for the Massachusetts Small Family Business of the Year Award.

Nancy Chippendales Dance Studios prides itself on providing a safe, positive, and warm environment for dancers of all ages. Each family who attends our studio is part of a larger Team Chipps Family. We welcome dancers of all ability levels who would like to learn the art of dance and develop a passion for the performing arts. We believe that all of our programs provide dance education as a medium through which our students learn self-confidence, dedication, work ethic, responsibility, and accountability. Whether our dancers participate on a recreational level or plan to pursue a career in dance, we aim to be a positive influence in their lives from the stages of tiny, wobbling toddlers through mature, young adults. The diverse group of families enrolled at Nancy Chippendale's contributes to the wealth of culture and spirit that defines Team Chipps!
